Aga Khan University Examination Board Karachi has maintained its own schedule to conduct the annual exams of both classes matric and intermediate classes every year in part 1 and 2. Aga Khan Board conducts the exams in the schools and colleges, which are affiliated with it.

It is also responsible to raise the standard of education in the schools and colleges and maintain the education level through impart of quality of education in all educational institutes. It is also necessary to conduct the exams at the end of the year to judge what sort of education being imparted to the students during the whole year and what is the percentage of the passing students.

AKU-EB was established in 2003 to conduct the annual and supply exams of Matric, HSSC, Inter, ICS, I.Com, which were held in 2004 in the science and arts groups.
